Through decades of world travels and linguistics research, Mister WA has translated a wide variety of media, from BBC documentaries to new product websites and tour guides' scripts. He recently provided French consulting to composer Scrumbly Koldewyn and the various Thrillpeddlers writers toward integration of French lyrics and catchy puns into Jewels of Paris, an original French revue made in San Francisco, Paris of the West.

Mister WA provides quick turn-around French translations to San Francisco documentarians such as David Weissman and Bill Weber. He has translated key elements of We Were Here into his native French. We Were Here is the first documentary to take a deep and reflective look back at the arrival and impact of AIDS in San Francisco.

Mister WA's German linguistics background combined to his knowledge of San Francisco culture and grassroots vernacular was perfect for the collaborative translation of this German-made Burning Man documentary into English. Produced, Shot and Edited by Uli Peichert (Hamburg, Germany).

Mister WA translated parts of David Weissman and Bill Weber's The Cockettes documentary from English into French. Mister WA has been working on Cockettes Revival shows in San Francisco since Theatre of the Ridiculous troupe Thrillpeddlers reprised Pearls over Shanghai  with original Cockettes 2008. WA has been touring NYC with them (Howl Festival 2011 & Lincoln Center as well as with Cockette Rumi Missabu's 2010 and 2012 productions). Mister WA is completing a documentary Children of the Cockettes about the Cockettes legacy in contemporary culture (2009-2015).
